British explorers Justine Curgenven and Sarah Outen set out to paddle the Aleutian chain of islands in Alaska. Alone for 101 days and at the mercy of one of the windiest, roughest places on earth, the duo are swept away from land by unknown currents, pounded by rough seas and approached by bears. On this epic journey, they gain a rare insight into themselves, the rich wildlife and this harsh yet beautiful landscape.

Experiencing an edge-of-your-seat journey, they gain a rare insight into themselves, the rich wildlife and this harsh yet beautiful landscape. These adventurers will need all of their strength and determination just to survive this treacherous expedition.

David Day is an artist from Queensland who, on walks along the beach with his son, was inspired not just to pick up rubbish they found washed up on the shore, but to do something meaningful with it. He now makes colourful yet surprisingly life-like models of all sorts of marine life, turning worthless junk into objects of beauty, and raising awareness of the ever-growing problem of plastic in our oceans.
