WELCOMING YOU BACK SAFELY
We can't wait to reunite with Ocean audiences and come together to celebrate the ocean with inspiring stories from around the globe.
We place the great importance on protecting your health and we will of course be complying with (and where feasible exceeding) government guidelines and working with venues to make your theatre experience is as covid-safe and enjoyable as possible.
TICKETS & PAYMENTS
We would strongly encourage you to buy tickets in advance so you have an e-ticket or a print-at-home ticket. This will allow quicker and easier entry to the venue, and reduce physical contact with the front of house team. There will also be contactless payments wherever possible at the venue.
CHANGES IN THE FOYER
Tour magazines (i.e. the audience programme) will now be available digitally, and the prize draw will be paperless to reduce congestion. We will also work with venues on other ways to reduce congestion in the foyer and audience flow through the venue. We encourage audience members to wear masks while moving around the venue, and to take a lateral flow test before attending the show (please check directly with your venue to confirm any venue-specific requirements with regards to face-coverings and proof of Covid status).
WHAT HAPPENS IF I FEEL ILL AND CAN'T USE MY TICKET?
We will continue to work with all tour venues to try and ensure a continuing flexible refund and/or exchange policy. Many tour venues are now part of the See It Safely campaign - just check the website for your local venue. Venues that have adopted this campaign allow ticket exchanges up to 24 hours prior to the performance, so if someone in your party feels ill, there’s no need to worry. You can see more information on the scheme HERE.
Please do not attend the venue, as you will not be permitted entry, if you:
believe you may be infected with COVID-19 or have experienced symptoms in the last 14 days;
have been instructed to self-isolate, or have been in close proximity to anyone who has experienced symptoms in the last 14 days;
If you develop symptoms during a theatre screening then please leave the venue immediately.
WHAT ELSE ARE THEATRES DOING?
We will work with venues to ensure an intensive cleaning schedule in place in accordance with the latest regulations.
Some venues may require proof of a negative covid test or vaccination status. If this is the case, full details will be sent to ticket holders in advance of the screening.
Some walking routes through the venue may have changed in order to minimise your contact with others, so the staff at the theatre will guide you.
Hand sanitiser stations will be made available when you enter and exit the theatre. Specific hygiene standards that will also be displayed in theatres and we will encourage audience members to wash their hands regularly.
We recommend that you check directly with your screening venue prior to the show to confirm the Covid-safe measures being implemented.
